The Saw Doctors

Saw Doctors is an Irish folk-rock band from Tuam, County Galway, formed in 1986. Beginning their career in the late 1980s, they gained recognition through supporting established acts such as Hothouse Flowers, the Stunning, and the Waterboys, becoming known for their energetic stage presence. The band achieved major commercial success with their second single "I Useta Lover" in 1990, which topped the Irish charts for nine weeks and became Ireland's best-selling single of all time. Their 1991 debut album, If This Is Rock and Roll, I Want My Old Job Back, debuted at number one on the Irish albums chart.
