S Club 8
S Club 8 was a British pop group that emerged as a derivative project of the established pop outfit S Club 7. Active between 2002 and 2004, the group consisted of young performers selected through the television programme S Club Search, which saw them chosen from a large pool of applicants. The members, all in their early teens or younger at the time of selection, were positioned to perform as a supporting act for S Club 7. The group contributed to the British pop and chart music landscape during the early 2000s.
