Rosie & the Originals

Rosie & the Originals

Rosie & The Originals were an American vocal group that emerged in 1960, led by singer Rosie Hamlin. The ensemble achieved notable success with their recording "Angel Baby," which became their signature piece. Active throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, the group released material through Highland Records. Like many artists of their time, Rosie & The Originals faced significant disputes with their record label concerning royalties and proper artistic credits, issues that characterized much of the music industry during this period. The group remained active until 1973.
