The Rocky Fellers

The Rocky Fellers were a Filipino pop and rock group active from 1959 to 1965. Composed of four brothers—Tony, Junior, Eddie, and Albert Maligmat—alongside their father Doroteo "Moro" Maligmat, the ensemble was discovered by Stanley Kahn in the 1960s and subsequently signed to Scepter Records. The group achieved international recognition with their 1963 hit single "Killer Joe," a track inspired by the renowned dance instructor and discothèque personality Killer Joe Piro. The song was composed by Bert Russell, Phil Medley, and Bob Elgin, establishing the Rocky Fellers as notable contributors to the early 1960s pop music landscape.
