The Roc Project

The Roc Project is an American electronica group centered on New York-based DJ Ray Roc and vocalist Tina Novak. In 2003, the duo prepared their debut single "Never," but contractual complications arising from their separate record label affiliations prompted Ray Roc to recruit Australian singer Tina Arena to record the vocal track instead. Arena's rendition became the official single release and achieved significant commercial success, reaching number 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 42 on the UK Singles Chart in April 2003. The track gained particular traction in club and dance radio markets across America.
