Rachel Proctor
Rachel Proctor is an American country music artist and songwriter. She gained initial recognition as a co-writer on Martina McBride's 2002 single "Where Would You Be" before launching her own recording career. Signed to BNA Records in 2003, Proctor released her debut single "Days Like This," which reached number 24 on the country charts. Her 2004 album Where I Belong produced four singles, including "Me and Emily," her highest-charting entry at number 18. Though her own charting singles ended in 2004, Proctor has established herself as a prolific songwriter, penning tracks recorded by artists including Blake Shelton, Jana Kramer, and Kenny Loggins. In 2013, she signed an exclusive songwriting agreement with Big Tractor Music Publishing.
