Queens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age is an American rock band established in 1996 by vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme. After the band's formation in Seattle, Homme relocated to his hometown of Palm Desert, California, where the group developed its distinctive sound rooted in the regional desert rock scene. Homme has remained the sole consistent member across numerous personnel shifts. The current lineup, solidified since 2013, features Homme alongside Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and Jon Theodore. The band is recognized for blending rock, stoner rock, and alternative metal influences with art rock sensibilities.
