Pro-Pain is an American heavy metal band from New York City that emerged in 1991. The group was founded by Gary Meskil, who serves as vocalist and bassist, and drummer Dan Richardson, each having previously played in the band Crumbsuckers. Blending hardcore and thrash metal with groove elements, Pro-Pain has established itself within the American metal scene. The band's sound reflects the influence of their earlier hardcore roots while incorporating heavier, more aggressive musical structures characteristic of their genre.
