Porno for Pyros
Porno for Pyros was an American alternative rock group that emerged in Los Angeles in 1992 during Jane's Addiction's initial hiatus. The band featured Perry Farrell on vocals and Stephen Perkins on drums, both core members of Jane's Addiction, alongside guitarist Peter DiStefano and bassist Mike Watt. Martyn LeNoble served as the group's original bassist from 1992 to 1995. Active through the late 1990s, Porno for Pyros represented a creative outlet for its members during Jane's Addiction's split, blending their signature alternative rock sound with the band's distinct artistic direction.
