The Poni-Tails

The Poni-Tails were an American vocal group that formed in Lyndhurst, Ohio in 1956. The trio achieved significant commercial success during the late 1950s, most notably with their 1958 hit "Born Too Late," which became their signature song. Active through 1960, the group was part of the pop and doo-wop musical landscape of the era. Their work reflected the vocal harmony style popular among American groups of that period.
