Pinmonkey was an American country music band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2002 by Michael Reynolds, brothers Michael and Chad Jeffers, and Rick Schell. The group released two albums that year—Speak No Evil independently and Pinmonkey through BNA Records—with the latter spawning chart entries on Billboard Hot Country Songs, including "Barbed Wire and Roses" and a rendition of Cyndi Lauper's "I Drove All Night." Following lineup changes in 2005, the band released their third album, Big Shiny Cars, on Back Porch Records in 2006 before dissolving. Critics praised Reynolds's vocal ability and the band's blend of bluegrass and country rock, alongside their diverse approach to cover material.
