Philly’s Most Wanted

Philly's Most Wanted was an American hip hop duo from Southwest Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, active from 2000 to 2004. The group consisted of Al Baseer "Boo-Bonic" Holly and Joel "Mr. Man" Witherspoon, who initially gained recognition through street presence and underground work in the mid-1990s. They contributed as ghostwriters and featured artists on projects including material by Fugees member Pras and the film Slam. Following a meeting with Jay-Z shortly after his debut album, the duo signed with Atlantic Records while maintaining ties to Roc-A-Fella Records. The group became affiliated with production duo The Neptunes, facilitating important connections within the industry during their career.
