Partners in Kryme

Partners In Kryme was an American hip hop duo from New York City, active from 1990. The group consisted of James Alpern (DJ Keymaster Snow) and Richard Usher (MC Golden Voice). They achieved international recognition with their debut single "Turtle Power!", created for the 1990 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The track became a major commercial success, reaching number 13 on the US charts and topping the UK charts for four consecutive weeks. The song notably misidentified Raphael as the group's leader, an error that occurred because the members were unfamiliar with the source material and based their lyrics on a synopsis provided by producers.
