The Osmonds were an American family music group from Ogden, Utah, who rose to prominence during the early to mid-1970s. Composed of siblings who came from a musical family background, the group gained public attention beginning in the 1960s. Operating in various configurations—most notably as a quartet and quintet—they performed across multiple genres including pop, rock, country, and bubblegum pop. The Osmonds maintained their career from 1959 through 1980, establishing themselves as a significant fixture in popular music during their era of greatest success.
