Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are American fashion designers and former actresses who began their entertainment careers as infants on the television sitcom Full House, where they shared the role of Michelle Tanner. Through their production company, Dualstar, the fraternal twins expanded into additional television programs, films, and media ventures as they matured.
