Odes of Ecstasy is a Greek symphonic gothic metal band established in November 1993 by Dimitris Bikos and Iosif Nikou. Emerging from Greece's metal scene, the group has distinguished itself within the death metal and gothic metal genres, blending symphonic elements with heavy instrumentation. Since their formation, Odes of Ecstasy has remained active in creating music that characterizes the darker, more atmospheric end of European metal.
