Notis Sfakianakis is a Greek folk music singer born on November 2, 1959. Beginning his career in 1985 performing at nightclubs, he gained wider recognition after being discovered by Sony Greece. His debut album, Proti Fora, released in 1991, marked the start of a successful recording career. Sfakianakis has become one of Greece and Cyprus's most commercially successful artists, establishing himself as a prominent figure in the laiko music genre.
