The Newbeats were an American pop vocal trio active during the 1960s and early 1970s. Led by Larry Henley, the group gained prominence with a series of successful recordings that defined the era's pop sound. Their most notable tracks, "Bread and Butter" and "Run, Baby Run," became enduring hits that secured their place in popular music history. Operating from 1964 to 1974, the Newbeats contributed significantly to the vocal group tradition of their time.
