Edie Brickell & New Bohemians
New Bohemians is an American alternative rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, during the mid-1980s. The group achieved widespread recognition with their 1988 single "What I Am," taken from their debut album Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars. Their sound blends rock, folk, blues, and jazz influences. After releasing their second album Ghost of a Dog in 1990, lead vocalist Edie Brickell departed the band. The ensemble reunited in 2006, establishing an online presence and recording a new album titled Stranger Things, marking a creative revival after an extended hiatus.
