Anti-Flag was an American punk rock band formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1988. The group became recognized for its outspoken left-wing political messaging integrated throughout their music and public presence. The band's core lineup for most of their active years featured Justin Sane, Chris Head on guitar, Pat Thetic on drums, and Chris Barker, also known as Chris No. 2. Drawing from punk, hardcore, and related genres, Anti-Flag maintained a commitment to activist themes across their career until their disbandment in July 2023.
