Natas

NATAS is an American professional organization founded in 1955 to advance television arts and sciences while promoting creative excellence across the industry. Headquartered in New York City, the organization—initially known as the National Television Academy before adopting its current name in 2007—maintains a nationwide membership with chapters throughout the United States. NATAS administers several Emmy Award categories, including those honoring achievements in daytime, sports, news, documentary, and children's programming. As part of the broader Emmy Awards ecosystem, NATAS operates alongside the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences to recognize outstanding work across the television industry.
