The Nashville Sounds

The Nashville Sounds

The Nashville Sounds are a Minor League Baseball team competing in the International League as the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, the franchise takes its name from the city's influential music heritage, particularly the regional country music style that emerged there during the mid-1950s. Since their establishment, the Sounds have become the longest-running professional sports organization in Nashville. The team played at Herschel Greer Stadium from 1978 through 2014 before relocating to First Horizon Park, which opened in 2015 on the former grounds of the historic Sulphur Dell ballpark.
