Mr Pookie

Mr. Pookie is an American rapper from Dallas, Texas, whose career began in 1978. He is primarily recognized for releasing Tha Rippla in 1999, which became the highest-selling independent rap album from Dallas at that time. Beyond his solo work, Mr. Pookie collaborates with rapper Jeron Gibson, known professionally as Mr. Lucci. Together, they established Crawl 2 Ball Records, later rebranded as Stoney Crook Recordz, and co-founded the music production and publishing company Stoney Crook Music. Mr. Pookie maintains professional connections within the Dallas rap scene, including ties with rapper Southside Reggie.
