Mr.Children
Mr. Children is a Japanese pop rock band established in 1989, featuring members Kazutoshi Sakurai, Kenichi Tahara, Keisuke Nakagawa, and Hideya Suzuki. Known by the shortened name "Misu-Chiru," the group achieved major label status in 1992 and became one of Japan's most commercially successful rock acts. With over 50 million records sold, they spearheaded a significant cultural movement in mid-1990s Japan. The band holds multiple chart records, including 30 consecutive number-one singles and a 15-year reign for highest single-week sales. They have won the Japan Record Award twice and released twenty studio albums alongside numerous singles and compilations as of 2026.
