Anna Vissi is a Greek-Cypriot singer born in 1957 who developed her musical foundation through conservatory training. She launched her professional career in Athens in 1973, signing with the Minos label while pursuing university studies. Vissi achieved international recognition as a Eurovision contestant, representing Greece in 1980 and 2006, and Cyprus in 1982.
