Michel Fugain is a French singer and composer born in 1942. After leaving medical school, he pursued music and released his debut album in 1967, which featured a title track later adapted into English by international artist John Rowles. In the early 1970s, Fugain established a performance collective combining singers and dancers. He became known for numerous successful songs that resonated with French audiences and maintained an active presence through touring and media appearances on music-focused programs during the late 20th century. Following a period of reduced activity, he returned to performing in 2005 and continued creating new projects into the 2010s.
