Michalis Rakintzis is a Greek singer born in Athens who initially pursued studies in mechanical engineering in the United Kingdom. He began his musical career in 1982 as a member of the rock group Scraptown, which remained active until 1985 and released three albums along with a maxi single. Following the band's dissolution, Rakintzis transitioned to a solo career, establishing himself as an independent artist within the Greek music landscape.
