Melina León

Melina León is a Puerto Rican merengue and Latin artist who began her musical career in the early 1970s. She gained performance experience singing with multiple ensembles, including The Rubi, Girls of Puerto Rico, and The Cherries, appearing regularly in San Juan venues. León released her debut album Mujeres Liberadas in 1997 on Tropix Music, followed by Con Los Pies Sobre La Tierra on Sony in 1998. Beyond music, she has worked as an actress in television productions broadcast across Puerto Rico and the United States. Throughout her career, León has achieved chart success on the Billboard Tropical and Latin charts and earned recognition through numerous awards.
